Dear Stacey: Regarding chat being erased without you asking it to be so: Answer: For your privacy and protection the software automatically erases content. Regarding your vague statement about "experiencing third person" during private chat...you are correct; "private means private". If you have any further questions, please contact me through the site. Blessings, Your brother, Mark.
Dear Stacy: Welcome to our little family. There is a great misconception among some people that Christianity is about following a set of rules. It is true that there are very specific behaviors which God expects us to hold sacred; showing loving kindness to one another, do not steal, murder, commit sexual immorality, not perpetrating harm on others, worshiping other gods, etc. But the very beginning steps in Christianity is getting to know God's personality and character. Just like in any other relationship humans may develop. Above all, He is your best friend who will never mislead you. As we mature and grow in faith, then certain attributes begin to grow in the Christian (Galatians 5:22-26).
Also know that salvation is available to everyone who believes unto Christ. It does not matter what a person's past was, Father will forgive anyone of anything if they are truly repentant. Our Apostle Paul is a great example of that. He actually started out by persecuting and murdering Christians in the first century, but because of his repentant heart condition, he not only received salvation (immortality through Christ), but he was used by God to plant many of the first Congregations, and wrote nearly half of the New Testament Scriptures.
Don't ever believe anyone who says that someone is not good enough to be loved by God and, therefore, not eligible for Salvation. Here is a link that will give you concise, Scriptural teaching on Salvation: http://www.contenderministries.org/romanroad.php
